Who are in the research team?
Several hospitals in the Netherlands will participate in the MYCHOICE study. Each hospital has a gynecologist or radiologist who is the so-called local investigator. He or she is the contact person within this hospital. Other gynecologists or radiologists within the same hospital can also provide information about the study. If you decide to participate in the study, the local investigator of that hospital will make sure that the research team receives the correct data from your gynecologist’s file. The research team is in regular contact with the local investigator to answer questions from the hospital.
The MYCHOICE study is carried out from Isala Zwolle. This is where the research team members and the principal investigator are located. You will be in contact with them if you have specific questions about the study. For example, about when you can participate in the study or about the questionnaires. Ultimately, this research team is also responsible for security, privacy and reporting problems to an assessment committee. The research team consists of radiologists (including the principal investigator), gynecologists, PhD-candidate(s) working for the radiology and gynecology department and research nurses. Below you will find an overview of the research team and everyone involved during treatment.
