MYCHOICE

The MYCHOICE study is a nationwide investigation into the treatment of uterine fibroids. There are several options to treat uterine fibroids, including the new option MR-HIFU. In the MYCHOICE study we want to compare the MR-HIFU treatment with other treatments to know if this treatment works just as well. By participating in this study you can help research the treatment of uterine fibroids.

MR-HIFU

MR-HIFU stands for Magnetic Resonance image guided High Intensity Focused Ultrasound and is a treatment technique that combines MRI and ultrasound to treat fibroids from the outside. Thus, it actually involves surgery without cutting. The MYCHOICE study will investigate whether this treatment works as well as existing uterine fibroid treatments.
