For each medical scientific research, it is mandatory to appoint an independent physician. This doctor often knows the treatment or procedure (is often a medical specialist), but is not actively involved in setting up and supporting the study. If you have any questions about the MYCHOICE study, please contact this independent physician using the contact details in the patient information leaflet.

It is also possible to contact the complaints officer if you are dissatisfied with the MYCHOICE study. For example, about the information obtained or the reflection period. Complaints about the treatment itself, the treatment of the specialist or the care in the department, will have to be reported to the complaints officer of the hospital in question and are outside the scope of this study.
